RECHARGE NEXT: a new generation of Living Labs is coming

Avatar: Official post Official post

After a very successful campaign disseminating RECHARGE NEXT, the call for proposal to widen our network, we are proud to introduce the six institutions working on setting up the next generation Recharge Living Labs.

We received 40 application, coming from across Europe and from different kinds of cultural institutions. Receiving such a high number of applications made us believe in the project even more: each submission represents the effort, expertise, and passion, making the process of vetting and selecting winners both rewarding and challenging. The diversity of topics and perspectives presented in these applications likely provided valuable insights into current trends and needs for the cultural heritage community, in search for innovative ideas within the field. The vetting process, undertaken with care and attention to detail, involved evaluating the quality, relevance, and originality of each submission against the criteria set forth in the call for proposals. This meticulous review ensured that the most promising and impactful contributions were considered for selection. Ultimately, the task of selecting the winners required careful deliberation and consideration, weighing the strengths and merits of each submission to identify those that best aligned with the goals and objectives of RECHARGE.

Here are the names of the RECHARGE NEXT institutions:

Mart, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, Italy

The Serfenta Association, Poland

KÖME Association of Cultural Heritage Managers

Hilversum Public Library and Hilversum Heritage House

Pinacoteca e Museo Civico di Palazzo Minucci Solaini ,Volterra, Italy

Museum of Architecture and Design, Slovenia

In the coming months, we will report about their activities, disclose details on their processes and business plans, and showcase the result of their work.

Stay tuned for more!
