CSR Co-Creation Workshop
The Hunt Museum has built a reputation for innovation, aiming to make sure that the museum is used by the local communities and business at the same time as promoting its world class collections to a global stage. New participatory business models are needed for museums to survive and serve local communities. Companies are looking to get longer term returns on their corporate social responsibility activities. To develop these business models the Hunt Museum will be hosting a co-creation workshop to rethink CSR relationships and mechanisms.
The workshop to be delivered in 3 parts
- Creating a shared understanding of CSR & mapping the common ground
- Determining a mutually beneficial framework
- Pilot project ideation

Understanding of Corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a mutually beneficial, sustainable, and participatory undertaking for corporates, museums and the communities they reach.Mapping the common ground for developing a collaborative framework for delivering more impactful CSR outcomes by understanding:
the common issues and related challenges corporations face in delivering CSR (highlighting practical examples of current CSR initiatives);the existing and potential competences, resources and services in museums which can facilitate meaningful CSR initiatives in collaboration with corporations.
